AFMalik Law Principal Attorney Ammara Farooq Malik represented the Gender Resource Group of the Upper Indus Basin Network at the ICIMOD Regional Conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Gender Resource Group has more than 15 member organizations working on women’s inclusion and empowerment in Gilgit Baltistan and Punjab.
In the meeting, the regional updates on the various focus groups working in climate change adaptation were discussed. Participants of the meeting included ICIMOD representatives. regional partners from Pakistan, India, Afghanistan (via zoom), China and Uzbekistan.
